Kajuan Douglas


Kajuan Douglas is the Founder of Merge New York, a Self Discovery studio located in Soho. He is a yoga and meditation teacher focusing on mindfulness and self empowerment through movement. His teachings are focused around the balance of effort and ease. Effort comes through individual self study and ease through community. He is an advocate for inclusivity and diversity in health and wellness spaces. All people should feel welcome regardless of age, weight, gender, skin color, sexual orientation. or sexual identity. Kajuan is known for insightful words, real world perspective and sassiness.

Faith Hunter


International yoga and meditation instructor, wellness philanthropist, movement motivator, healing guide, music head, and Spiritually Fly theorist.With a BS degree in Marketing from Grambling State University and an MBA from Loyola University, Faith is the Owner and Creator of Embrace Yoga DC, a yoga and wellness center located in Adams Morgan – a multicultural nest of Washington, DC. She is also the architect of Spiritually Fly™, a life philosophy that celebrates every moment of life, and uses the technology of breath, movement, sound (chanting & music), and stillness, in a fresh and modern way to encourage students to live an epic life.

Bre Scullark


Entrepreneur, Model, Speaker and Actress Bre Scullark is most commonly known for her appearance on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 as the outspoken and confident young woman from Harlem, New York. Bre is also a 200hr RYT instructor through Pure Yoga East, Equinox as well as CPR Trained. Bre has channeled her own need for peace and spiritual centeredness into a contributive practice for her students. Bre passionately shares her practice with students living in Urban Communities; including her hometown, Harlem, NY. Many of these classes take place in Project Housing. Calling the purpose of this impromptu class, The Urban Peace Squad. Volunteers as well as residents join a 30 minute class that provide learning tools to use in their own personal practice.

Erica Garcia


Erica Garcia owns Nueva Alma Yoga and Wellness Studio and is the founder and Director of teacher training at the A.L.M.A Institute – center of yoga and holistic education in Yonkers, NY. Erica is also a certified Health Coach and Reiki Level I/II certified and served as the former NYC Regional Coordinator for Y.O.G.A for Youth. She has trained and continued her studies under the likes of Krishna Kaur, Sean Corne, Hala Khouri, Suzanne Sterling, and Anodea Judith. Erica has appeared in Mantra Magazine and NY Yoga Life Magazine as “one of the inspirational teachers they love in NY.” Erica is fast becoming the Latina face in yoga festivals.

Lara Land


Lara is a yoga teacher, motivational speaker, life-coach and author who travels the world teaching yoga. She’s shared yoga as a healing modality in India, Rwanda, and the US. Lara is the owner of Land Yoga in Harlem and the founder of nonprofit,Three and a Half Acres Yoga which provides yoga, breathing and mindfulness to underserved communities in upper Manhattan. Lara has been recognized by CBS, Fox5, SiriusXM, the Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Daily News, Health Magazine, Apartment Therapy, and Yoga Journal. She just released My Bliss Book, an undated daily life purpose planner + online coaching program.
